What should I wear?
Come as you are. At Fresh Encounter, you'll see a wide variety of clothing choices - from jeans, shorts and flip-flops, or dresses and ties. We believe the most important part about coming on a Sunday morning (or any other time) is that you show up, ready to worship God.

How long are Sunday services?
On Sundays we begin Worship around 9:30 a.m. after time to connect over donuts, coffee and juice. Running a little behind? Please come anyway! The set-up of our space makes it easy for you to slip in. No awkward stares- we promise! Our kids are dismissed for their own classes after worship, and we start the morning message around 10:15 a.m. We usually wrap up around 11 a.m.

What do I do with my kids?
During the sermon, we offer classes for preschoolers through high school students. You are welcome to walk your kids to their rooms or just let them join the crowd moving down the hall. We have a nursery right next door to our worship room if you need to step out of the service with your little one. A nursery volunteer will be present to help you with anything you might need. Above all, we want you to know that we are kid-friendly at Fresh Encounter! We know it's hard for children to sit still and be quiet, so we've created a space that gives you flexibility to meet your kids needs on any given Sunday, whether that's sitting at a table or stretching their legs in the hall.

What does a Sunday service entail?

Where should I park?
Our parking lot is immediately adjacent to the church building. There is also parking avaliable towards the back of the building or along the street.

What is the music like?
Our worship part of a Sunday service is live, energetic and contemporary. Instead of our worship team putting on a performance, their job is to lead us into the presence of God. Often there are songs you may hear on the Christian radio - if you don't know it, don't worry! We have a screen with the words for you.

How does FEF do communion?
Every Sunday we partake in communion as a tangible reminder of God's gift to us in Jesus Christ. Anyone who believes in Jesus Christ is welcome to take communion with us, whether they are a church member or not.

How is the offering collected?

Fresh Encounter is supported by the tithes and offerings of those who consider it their church home. That being said, rarely will you see a collection plate passed around during a service. Offerings are rather collected in offering boxes located towards the doors of the worship area.

Are you affiliated with any particular denomination?
